3. Paul Ferrante Author Talk. Fairfield resident Paul Ferrante will talk about his debut young adult novel "Last Ghost at Gettysburg: A T.J. Jackson Mystery" at the Fairfield Public Library at 4 p.m. 

4. Sip 'n' See with WBDC. Network, snack, sip, and learn more about the Women's Business Development Council at Troy Fine Art Services in Southport from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

5. Cupcakes. Pink Cupcake Shack lets fans know what the next day's flavors will be via Facebook. Need sweet treats for a special Tuesday occasion -- perhaps a birthday? Tuesday's flavors are red velvet, pink velvet, cannoli cream, chocolate salted caramel, high top hat, Elvis in the Shack, and vanilla cheesecake.
