Tractor-Trailer In I-95 Embankment, Fairfield Firefighters Say

The driver was extricated and efforts were underway to remove the truck as of about 10:15 a.m.

FAIRFIELD, CT — Fairfield firefighters responded Wednesday to a tractor-trailer in an embankment along Interstate 95. The incident occurred about 9:30 a.m. between Exits 20 and 21 of the northbound interstate, according to the fire department's Twitter account, which reported the driver had been extricated about 9:45 a.m. As of about 10:15 a.m., efforts to remove the truck were underway.
