A Valentine’s Day Letter To Georgia

A seven-year-old writes a sweet Valentine's Day poem to her best friend.

To celebrate Valentine’s Day, we asked Patch readers to write a love letter to that special someone and let us deliver it. This is a Valentine’s Day poem from 7-year-old Alex to her best friend, Georgia:

From Georgia’s mother: “This is a message for my 7 year old's best friend. We live in New York City during the school year, but we live in Fairfield over the summer and the two of them are inseparable! They can't wait until they are reunited in the summer! Here is a message from Alex (Alexandra) to her best friend, Georgia.”

Roses are red,
Violets are blue,
During the year,
I really miss you.

I can't wait for summer,
and this school year to end
because I want to spend every day
with my very best friend.
