‘Very Sick’ Dog Found In BJ’s Parking Lot In Fairfield

The animal control is asking for help with finding the dog's owner.

FAIRFIELD, CT — The Fairfield Animal Control is asking for help with finding a lost dog’s owner. The dog was found in the BJ’s parking lot on Feb. 13.

“This very gentle very sick (mammary tumor) female min pin chihuahua mix was brought to the Animal Shelter [on Feb. 13],” the animal control wrote in a post on Facebook. “The finder of this dog reports that it was found in the BJs parking lot. Named Olive by the finder she had no collar or tags but did have a microchip that was untraceable because it was not ever registered to an owner. If anyone knows who might own this dog please call Fairfield Animal Control at 203-254-4857. Olive is currently being treated at Dr. Kristy's and the finder wants to adopt when available.”
