Veterans Independence Day Event Set For Saturday In Fairfield
Fairfield United Veterans Organization will host its Annual Independence Day Celebration this weekend.

Fairfield United Veterans Organization will host its Annual Independence Day Celebration at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Town Green in front of the Old Town Hall, 611 Old Post Road.

Capt. Roger Crossland, USN (Ret.), is the guest speaker. There will be a reading of the Declaration of Independence and a singer from the Eunice Dennis Burr Chapter of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution. Elected officials, including First Selectwoman Brenda Kupchick, will be in attendance.
The Daughters of the American Revolution will have light refreshments after the ceremony at the Old Academy, adjacent to the Old Town Hall.
