Vigil to Raise Awareness on Domestic Violence, Fall Fashion Show

Here's what's going on in and around Fairfield on Thursday, Oct. 3: 

• Join the Center for Women and Families of Eastern Fairfield County at the annual vigil to raise awareness on domestic violence at the Sherman Green Gazebo in Fairfield. 

• Fairfield’s own clothing designer, Jennifer Butler, presents her Fall 2013 collection for women, men and girls in this Fall Fashion Show at 8 p.m. Thursday in Fairfield. 

• Enjoy a night out with friends painting and sipping on a drink of your choice and let local artist Gail Bell teach you some simple techniques on how to use Liquitex Basic Acrylic and a big brush in this Paint & Sip program.
