Heading to the beach this week? Be careful -- you might run into some jellyfish.
Waterfront Director Steve Berecz said via Fairfield's beach update page that stinging jellyfish have been sighted in the town's five beaches.
"Onshore breezes will tend to increase the number of jellyfish present in waters along the shoreline," according to the beach update site.
There have also been complaints of Swimmer's Itch -- a short-lived, a
parasite-induced rash -- from Fairfield beach-goers.
