Westport Writers' Workshop Offers Spring Online Workshops

WESTPORT, CT—The Westport Writers Workshop invites experienced or aspiring writers to join their spring classes which are being held online via Zoom beginning at the end of this month.

If your mind is whirling with current events, you're having a hard time focusing on writing, or you miss your writing group meet ups, join the Westport Writers Workshop for one of their prompt classes where you will write to prompts drawn from everyday experiences to ignite your imaginations and polish your writing . The class is taught by Allison Dickens, a former Senior Editor at the Penguin and Random House. Westport also offers workshops for writers interested in Poetry, Screenwriting, and Playwriting.

Fiction writers can opt for workshops throughout the week, including Monday evenings, Friday mornings, or Young Adult workshop on Thursday evenings. Memoirists and essayists also have an array of workshops to choose from.
