Woman Charged After Attempting to Purchase $12K Rolex in Fairfield

Woman possessed a fraudulent card and false license.

Elexsis Williams, 29, of Oakland CA, was charged with criminal attempt of second-degree larceny, second-degree forgery, illegal use of a credit card and interfering with and officer on Oct. 26 at approximately 3:21 p.m.

According to police, Williams attempted to purchase an $11,950 Rolex watch from Lenox Jewelers, 2379 Black Rock Turnpike, Fairfield, with a fraudulent Bank of America card and a false Texas operator’s license.

Officers were alerted and Williams was detained in the jewelry store parking lot. She was uncooperative and untruthful about her identity and has a lengthy criminal history, according to police.

Williams was held on $1,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 6.
