Woman Charged After Confrontation At Fairfield Restaurant: Police
She was accused of screaming obscenities and shoving a customer so hard he suffered an injury, according to Fairfield police.

FAIRFIELD, CT — A Southport woman is charged after she was accused of screaming obscenities while at a Fairfield restaurant and shoving a customer so hard he suffered an injury, according to police.
Hilary Breier, 51, was charged with second-degree breach of peace in connection with the April 9 incident, police said.
Officers responded to the business in the 2300 block of the Post Road after receiving a report that Breier shouted profanities, pushed a fellow customer and fled toward Sasco Hill Road, according to police. Restaurant patrons told law enforcement Breier was intoxicated and belligerent, and that when she shoved the customer, he fell over a table, breaking glasses, spilling drinks and injuring his elbow, police said. The customer declined medical treatment, according to police.

Officers found Breier walking on Sasco Hill Road, and she told them that the person she was accused of shoving had yelled insults at her first, police said. Breier was released at the scene on a promise to appear in court Friday, according to police.
