CHANNAHON, IL — Several members of Channahon Republican Congressman Adam Kinzinger's own family are so displeased with his outspokenness toward his own political party and former President Trump that several of them signed a letter calling Kinzinger a disappointment to God.

NBC Channel 5 in Chicago reports that the letter ripping Kinzinger was also sent to several prominent Republicans in Illinois. According to NBC, 11 relatives of Kinzinger sent him a handwritten two-page letter, saying he was in cahoots with "the devil's army" after calling for Trump's removal from office by impeachment.

A New York Times article, published Feb. 15, stated the author of the letter was Kinzinger's cousin, Karen Otto. “Oh my, what a disappointment you are to us and to God!” her letter wrote, according to The New York Times. “You have embarrassed the Kinzinger family name!”
