Area Baseball Pros Launch Illinois Premier Baseball Organization
New Travel Baseball Organization Offering the Best in Instruction, Resources and Facilities for Athletes and Families

According to the Sports & Fitness Industry Association, America’s favorite pastime is more popular than ever. In fact, the association found those who play baseball in the U.S. grew an astounding 21 percent between 2014 and 2018. The Southwest Suburbs of Chicago are no exception with thousands of area baseball players searching for the best in baseball instruction and coaching. In time for the 2019-2020 season, a collaboration of area baseball experts is launching Illinois Premier Baseball– a new travel baseball organization offering the best in instruction, resources and facilities.
“There continues to be a growing demand and need for elite baseball instruction and coaching in the area,” said Lou Simios, co-owner of Illinois Premier Baseball. “Illinois Premier Baseball is dedicated not only to delivering the very best instruction, coaching and facilities in the area, but also to creating an overall culture to bring out the best in young athletes – from performance to character.”

The organization will host tryouts this summer and offer the opportunity to train at one of three facilities in the region.
- Travel Team Tryouts– Baseball athletes will have the opportunity to tryout for 10u-17u travel teams this summer all to be coached and instructed by professional, experienced staff.
- Professional Baseball Instruction – Illinois Premier Baseball teams will receive high-level instruction from former and current professional baseball players from the Baseball Institute.
- Choice of Facilities – Baseball athletes and families will have opportunity to work out at a choice of three facilities in the area: MVP Sports (Minooka) and Quarry Fieldhouse (Romeoville) or (Mokena).
