D Construction Owner Todd Sandeno, 49, Dies
D Construction has become a Joliet area powerhouse in the construction industry over the past several years.

COAL CITY, IL — Todd Sandeno, the co-owner of D Construction, one of the Joliet area's largest construction companies, died unexpectedly on Monday in Nashville, Tenn. The Morris resident was 49.
"Todd was a wonderful father, who made sure to set aside time to spend with each one of his children," his obituary reads. "He loved hunting, shooting, and four-wheeling, with the boys, but he also loved to take his little girl shopping, watching live performances like Dancing with the Stars and Blue Man Group, and of course four-wheeling. The kids and their friends will never forget Todd’s no phone Sunday rules that applied to everyone…except for him."
Sandeno was born in Joliet and graduated with the Class of 1990 from Gardner-South Wilmington High School. He was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church in South Wilmington, according to the Braidwood funeral home handling his arrangements.
