Farming Accident Claims Life In Grundy County: Coroner
The 69-year-old Braceville man was killed late Saturday morning, according to coroner John Callahan.
BRACEVILLE, IL — The Office of Grundy County Coroner John Callahan announced a farming accident claimed the life of a 69-year-old man on Saturday.
Michael A. Perino of rural Braceville was found on the ground alongside of his tractor around 11:30 am Saturday.
The coroner's office said Perino may have been working on his tractor to get it started when the tractor rolled or lunged forward, going over the farmer. Perino died at the scene.

The incident remains under investigation by Callahan’s Office. Gardner and Braceville Fire responded to the emergency.
