Free COVID-19 Testing To Be Offered Sunday In Channahon

Residents will have an opportunity to take advantage of free COVID-19 testing this Sunday at Minooka Community High School - South Campus.

CHANNAHON, IL — Residents will have an opportunity to take advantage of free coronavirus testing this Sunday at Minooka Community High School.

The testing address for the school is 26655 W. Eames St. in Channahon. Testing will be offered from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Testing, which is offered by the Illinois Department of Public Health, will be provided on a first come first serve basis, while supplies last.

The Channahon Police Department, Channahon Emergency Management Office and the Grundy County Emergency Management Agency will be on site to assist in traffic flow and management.

Using the overlay displayed below, drivers will enter the school parking lot at the lighted intersection (marked "ENTRANCE" in green) and follow the white colored path, leading to the "Test Area" near the school's main entrance. This pattern will allow for the maximum amount of vehicles to enter the parking lot while providing for the safe and efficient flow of traffic along U.S. Rt. 6 (Eames Street).
