Victim ID: I-55 Semi Crash Fatal At Lorenzo Rd

Traffic was being diverted away from I-55 south of Joliet.

WILMINGTON, IL — The Will County Coroner's Office has announced that the victim of Thursday morning's deadly crash along Interstate 55 involving three semi-trailers and two cars has been identified as Kenneth C. Bloor, 34, of St. Peters, Mo.

Bloor was taken to the Amita Saint Joseph Medical Center in Joliet and pronounced dead at 10:31 a.m. Thursday morning’s wreck caused the Illinois State Police to temporarily close a stretch of Interstate 55 near Lorenzo Road for several hours.

The Illinois State Police issued a short press release saying the serious crash occurred on I-55 northbound at Lorenzo Road and it involved 3 semi-tractor trailers and two cars.
