Local Gymnasts Head to Savannah to Compete in AAU Nationals

Eleven gymnasts from GymDynasty Gymnastics & Tumbling in Joliet will be heading this week to Savannah, Georgia to represent Team Central at the AAU Age Group Nationals at the Savannah Convention Center. The team will be traveling along with their coaches, Michelle Condon, Chloe DeMaso, and DJ Ross.

Although the team faced a disruption in their training this season due to Covid-19, the gymnasts were able to participate safely in several meets. They hold several local, state, and district championship titles on each of the individual events; floor, bars, beam, and vault. They have also worked together to bring home several team awards. They are looking forward to bringing home more titles for Team Central, GymDynasty, and themselves.

The girls are grateful for the support from their teammates, parents, gym, and all the sponsors that have helped make attending nationals possible.
