It’s really happening! After years of driving past our property and seeing the sign that says “future home of Minooka United Methodist Church,” we are ready to take a very big step into our future. On Saturday, May 1st at 3 p.m. we’ll be holding our groundbreaking ceremony at Ridge Road. We’re hoping that our church family will show out in full force to celebrate this exciting event in the life of Minooka UMC. We’d also like this to be a homecoming of sorts and a time to rekindle relationships with church members who have not been attending Minooka UMC in the recent past.
We will have giveaways, snacks, music, and much more! Stay for our outdoor worship service immediately following the groundbreaking ceremony.
This event will be located at 1210 Ridge Rd., in Minooka, IL next to the Minooka water tower, and is a free event for the community.
