The Troy Community School District 30-C school board approved several positions at its recent March 2021 school board meeting, including these administrators and district office employees.
On July 1, Dr. Lisa Dallacqua will begin her position as Executive Director of Curriculum and Assessment. Dallacqua is currently Senior Executive Director of Teaching and Learning at East Aurora School District 131. Prior to that position, she served as Principal of Western Avenue School in Flossmoor School District 161 and as District Coordinator for the History and Foreign Language Departments at Bloom Township High School in School District 206.
Dallacqua has a Bachelor of Science degree in Spanish Literature and Political Science from Kalamazoo College, a Master’s Degree in Teaching from National Louis University; a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from the American College of Education, and a Doctorate Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
She replaces Dr. Kristin Johnson, who will become Assistant Superintendent of Instruction at Mokena School District 159.
Also on July 1, Dr. Jillian Tsoukalas will be Troy’s new Executive Director of Instruction and Professional Development. Tsoukalas is currently Executive Director for Educational Services, Pre-K -5, at Valley View School District 365U. She previously served as Director of Math and Science at D 365U and as Kindergarten Curriculum Coordinator and K-2 Math Content Specialist for West Aurora School District 129.
Tsoukalas has her Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from St. Xavier University, a Master Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Olivet Nazarene University, and a Doctor of Education degree in Teacher Leadership from Walden University. She replaces Dr. Jenna Woodland, who will become Superintendent of Evergreen Park School District 124.
Patrick Marczewski will begin his position as Assistant Executive Director of Information Services July 1. He has his Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and his Master of Science degree in Information Security, both from Lewis University. Marczewski began his Troy career in 2014, first serving as Building Technology Associate and later as Application and Data Management Specialist.
Elizabeth D’Andrea was hired as an Assistant Principal of Troy Middle School and will serve alongside current T.M.S. Assistant Principals Mark Peter and Matt Stortz. D’Andrea earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Applied Psychology from the University of Illinois, her Master of Arts degree in Education from St. Xavier University, a Master of Arts degree as a Reading Specialist from Olivet Nazarene University, a Master of Science degree in Educational Leadership from the University of St. Francis, and she holds an LBS1 endorsement.
D’Andrea currently teaches 5th grade at Ludwig Elementary School in School District 92 and previously taught ELA, science and special education at Oak Prairie Junior High School, also in District 92. She will begin her Troy position July 1.
Shanice Pagan was hired as Payroll and Grant Specialist. She replaces Kristine Hutten, who is now Troy’s Finance Director. Pagan has a Bachelor of Science degree in Corporate/Organizational Communications and has several years of corporate experience in human resources and payroll. She began her position in March.
