MINOOKA, IL — One of the main retail stores at Minooka's Parker Square along the corner of Ridge Road and Mondamin Street is no longer open. The 7-Eleven store at 462 Mondamin St. no longer has any signs on the building, and advertising of the 7-Eleven has been removed from the sign marquee for the Parker Square.

One of the operators of the Tasty Bite restaurant in the same plaza told Patch that the 7-Eleven has probably been closed about a month.

According to the 7-Eleven business website, there are now 335 7-Eleven businesses operating across Illinois including four in Joliet, one in Shorewood and 112 in Chicago. There are no 7-Elevens still in existence in Minooka, according to its website.
