Old Joliet Prison Tours Begin June 1st

Beginning June 1st, tours will take place seven days a week at the Old Joliet Prison

Beginning June 1st, tours will take place seven days a week!

Visitors will be allowed inside the limestone walls to explore the Old Joliet Prison's 16-acre grounds, and while tours will be limited to outdoor areas only to comply with the Governor's Restore Illinois plan, there will be plenty to see including 24 new Interpretive Signs with historical prison photos!

Choose from: SELF GUIDED TOUR, GUIDED HISTORY TOUR, GUARD TOUR, HAUNTED HISTORY TOUR, Or PHOTOGRAPHY TOUR!

Tours start at $20 with discounts for Joliet residents and museum members.
