Plainview Holiday Lights shines bright in 2020
A spectacular display to be shared by many
With the ending of 2020, it’s no surprise that many are trying to find some “normalcy” in their lives during this holiday season. Despite the pandemic year, Plainview Holiday Lights continues to surprise those who stop by with their multi-house light and sound display. Each year, Kris Koppers creates a spectacular display of lights and music by syncing 5 houses together for an amazing show.
What started as one house with lights and music soon became full of holiday cheer with the neighbors coming together. Soon it became two houses, then three to the magical scene you see now 8 years later.
The holiday lights began Thanksgiving night and will continuously run through January 1. Be sure to check out their Facebook page (Plainview Holiday Lights) and website for event information and updates (www.plainviewholidaylights.weebly.com).

While driving by, you won’t be able to miss the 25’ mega light tree that has 10,000 lights on it alone. Visitors can even control the song list with the ‘select a song’ option.
Don’t forget to visit the light show on Dec. 11 from 6-9 pm when Santa Claus (Santa Services) and Mrs. Claus will be stopping by taking pictures and waving to the visitors. There will also be special guest appearances by Cousin Eddie and the Grinch.
