Shorewood Lions Club Recognizes Troy Students Of The Month
February recipients recognized at school board's March 2021 meeting
The Troy Community School District 30-C school board recognized the Shorewood Lions Club February 2021 Students of the Month at the district’s March school board meeting.
The William B. Orenic Intermediate School 6th grade February 2021 Students of the Month are Finn Baker, Shane Browder, Grace Smith and Lily Swan.
The Troy Middle School 7th grade February 2021 Students of the Month are Delaney Gallegos, Khristian Lestz, Sydney Sleyko and Henry Young.

T.M.S. 8th grade February 2021 Students of the Month are Ava Kowynia, Kaley Rossini, Armani Sealy and Andrea Uzdzinski.
Students were selected on the basis of consistent effort, productive citizenship, positive attitude and participation in class.

In addition to receiving certificates as Students of the Month, the students will $10 Amazon gift cards from the Shorewood Lions Club.
The Shorewood Lions Club helps needy persons in Troy Township who have sight or hearing problem get glasses, hearing aids and other related equipment, including seeing eye dogs. They also help sight- or hearing-impaired children sign up for Camp Lions in the summer.
The club meets at Matty’s Grill and Pancake House, 995 Brook Forest Avenue in Shorewood, on the second Saturday of each month at 9 a.m. Visitors are welcome. Check the club’s Facebook page for meeting change notifications.
