Shorewood Lions Club Recognizes Troy Students Of The Month
Students attend William B. Orenic Intermediate School, Troy Middle School
The Troy Community School District 30-C school board recognized the Shorewood Lions Club April 2021 Students of the Month at the district’s May school board meeting.
The William B. Orenic Intermediate School 6th grade April 2021 Students of the Month are Yasiaya Alexander, Julissa Verdin, Claire Wellman and Bailey Williams.
The Troy Middle School 7th grade Students of the Month are Chloe Brouwer, Mike Lara, Payton Palesh and Keven Robles.

T.M.S. 8th grade Students of the Month are Leandro Magat, Brynn Pitcairn, Jillian Pranckus and Hannah Williams.
Students were selected on the basis of consistent effort, productive citizenship, positive attitude and participation in class.

The Shorewood Lions Club helps needy persons in Troy Township who have sight or hearing problems get glasses, hearing aids and other related equipment, including seeing eye dogs. They also help sight- or hearing-impaired children sign up for Camp Lions in the summer.
The club meets at Matty’s Grill and Pancake House, 995 Brook Forest Avenue in Shorewood, on the second Saturday of each month at 9 a.m. Visitors are welcome. Check the club’s Facebook page for meeting change notifications.
