Whiteford Youth Baseball is holding part-time travel tryouts for our 8U, 9U, 10U, 11U, and 12U travel teams on Sunday, August 30th. The 13U-14U team will have tryouts on Saturday, August 29th.
Whiteford Baseball is an independent youth baseball organization that offers youth baseball leagues for ages 4-18. We are located on Northeast Frontage Road (I-55) just north of Black Road in Joliet. We are an all-volunteer, 501c3 approved organization that is funded through the kind support of our sponsors and members.
The part-time travel teams will play in either the I-80 league or the Chicagoland Sunday League. In addition, some of the teams will play in a couple of tournaments throughout the year. Players can expect to play anywhere from 12 to 20 travel games throughout the season. Since these are part-time teams, all players will also participate in the in-house league which is approximately an additional 20 games.

A child is eligible for a particular team if their birthday falls after April 30th, 2016. For example, If a child turns 10 on May 1st, he or she is eligible for the 9U team but if their birthday is April 30th, they must tryout out for 10U.
