CHICAGO — A third Chicagoan is among the missing after a condo building collapse last week in Surfside, Florida.

The death toll from the collapse is currently at 11 people, with around 150 others still unaccounted for. Among them is Richard Augustine, 77, a Chicago native who had lived in Champlain Towers, ABC Chicago reported.

Augustine's daughter, Debbie Hill, told ABC she watched a video of the collapse and could see her father's unit among those falling.

"He was right in the corner where the buildings met, so, yeah, that was pretty scary to watch," Hill said. "And, of course, immediately I tried to call him and his phone went straight to voicemail."

Augustine was supposed to fly to Chicago on Friday to visit Hill, she told ABC Chicago, and had only gone home to Miami to pack his bags after a trip to California to visit her brother.

Two men from Chicago universities, Juan Mora and Ilan Naibryf, remain missing as well.

Mora, a 2011 graduate of Loyola University Chicago, was originally reported missing by the Miami Herald and is a manger with Morton Salt.

“We are shocked and deeply saddened to learn that Juan is reported to be one of the more than 150 people missing,” the company said in a statement. “The Morton Salt team remains hopeful for Juan, his family and the other victims of this tragedy and will keep them in our thoughts as rescue efforts continue.”

Mora was visiting his parents, Juan Mora Sr. and Ana Mora, at their home in the condo building, the Miami Herald reported. All three remain missing.

Ilan Naibryf, a fourth-year student at the University of Chicago, is also still missing, along with his girlfriend, Deborah Berezdivan.
