80 Degrees On Tuesday: Warm-Up Hits Illinois
Tuesday has a high of 84 degrees, with rain moving into the area on Tuesday night.
ILLINOIS — After a Sunday in the 50s, temperatures are expected to warm up quite drastically for the start of the work week. According to the National Weather Service forecast, Monday will have a high of 79, Tuesday a high of 84 degrees, and Wednesday a high of 75.
Temps will cool slightly Thursday, which has a high of 63, and Friday, which has a high of 67, according to the weather service.
It will be warm and windy both Monday and Tuesday, with gusts up to 40 mph possible on Monday. There is also a risk of faster grass/brush fire spread on Monday, the weather service said on its Twitter.

A chance of showers will begin Tuesday night, continuing into Wednesday. Some thunderstorms are also possible, especially Interstate 88 and south, according to the weather service.
Rain is also likely on Thursday, before the week ends partly sunny on Friday, according to the weather service.
