Bad Blood, A Taylor Swift-Inspired Break-Up Bar Coming Soon To Chicago

A West Loop pop-up gives the broken-hearted and those disengaged by Valentine's Day a place to commune and drink away with their sorrows.

Taylor Swift will not be appearing at a break-up bar that opens later this month and will remain open through late February to celebrate the "Anti-Valentines Day season".

CHICAGO ? Valentine?s Day may bring out the romantic in many Chicago-area residents, but the love-themed holiday centered around chocolate and mushy greeting cards isn?t for everyone.

At least that?s what a company driven by helping people get more out of life by introducing hot spots in major cities such as Chicago is hoping for. And bringing pop star Taylor Swift into the mix certainly won?t hurt.

Bucketlisters recently announced a Swift-themed hangout for Valentine's Day that plays to the broken-hearted or otherwise the Valentine?s Day disengaged by creating a Taylor Swift-themed pop-up break-up bar.

The event company announced that "Bad Blood" will open on Jan. 27 and will run until Feb. 26, the company announced. The West Loop break-up bar is meant to stay open just long enough to ensure those who celebrate the "Anti-Valentine?s Day Season will have plenty of time to get in on all of the broken-hearted action."

The bar is an homage to Swift?s song ?Bad Blood?, which was released in 2014 and also included a hip-hop remix with Kendrick Lamar.

?Whether you want to sing about your lover, those who were never yours, those you?re never getting back together with, or those who still have your scarf, this is the perfect place for you,? the pop-up's website reads. At the pop-up, guests can ?get bejeweled for photo opportunities and ready to engage in some champagne problems,? or ?get a glimpse into your future with our tarot card readers on-site.? Visitors can even spin ?the Shake It Off Wheel of Cocktails for your drink of choice.?

The bar will open at Electric Garden, located at 324 S. Racine in Chicago, and offers anyone willing to pay the $20 ticket fee a free welcome drink, themed drinks, an on-site tarot card reader, and ?Taylor photo opps and more,? the site says. Visitors must be 21 or older to enter, and tickets for the pop-up bar will go on sale soon, organizers said.

However, Swifties hoping who weren?t fortunate to get tickets to the pop star?s upcoming trio of shows later this year at Soldier Field should be aware of one important fact, according to the pop-up?s website.

All sales are final. No refunds or exchanges. Taylor will not be there.
