Chesterbook Academy Students Deliver Gifts for Local Children

Preschool students visited Humanitarian Service Project to deliver gifts for local children in need and to tour the organization's facility

More than 30 Pre-K and kindergarten students from Chesterbrook Academy Preschools in St. Charles and Bartlett recently delivered gifts to Humanitarian Service Project. During their visit, students also toured the warehouse to learn more about the organization. Through their giving tree initiative, students and their families from Chesterbrook Academy Preschools in Oswego, South Naperville, Central Naperville, Naperville on Rollingridge Road, Wheaton, Westmont, Lisle, St. Charles, Bartlett and Shorewood collected gifts to fulfill the wish lists of children in the community. Humanitarian Service Project will distribute the gifts to local families in need during the holiday season. Through their efforts, students learned the importance of giving back to the community and helping others.

The Humanitarian Service Project (HSP) started in Karole and Floyd Kettering's home in 1979 to help impoverished families living in DuPage County during the holiday season by providing them with an abundance of groceries and gifts.
