CHICAGO, IL — Football fans won't want to miss the Chicago Bear's nail-biting season opener against rivals Green Bay Packers. Tickets are now on sale to see the Bears take on the Packers on their home turf at Soldier Field Stadium on Sept. 5.

The Bears/Packers rivalry is the most played in the NFL. These two teams have been going head to head since 1921, and they've been in the same division since the NFL changed to conference format in 1933. Today, the two teams wrestle for glory in the NFC North division. The two teams have even met twice in the playoffs, each winning one game. The standoff has heated up in recent years. In 2017, the Packers surpassed the Bears in the series overall for the first time since 1932. In 2018, the Packers finished in the lead with 97-95-6.

The Bears are ready to redeem their place at the top with new head coach Matt Nagy at the helm. The team has also enlisted the help of receivers Allen Robinson, Trey Burton, and Taylor Gabriel. The Bears had a strong season last year, finishing with a 12-4 record. The team however lost to the Philadelphia Eagles, then defending Superbowl champs, in the Wild Card round of the playoffs in the final seconds of the game.
