
The Chicago Sky came out smoking in the game against Dallas. The Sky were up 30-11 at the end of the first quarter and had a lead of 30 points in the first half. They led 51-29 at half.
Dallas didn't give up though. A 30-18 third quarter cut the lead to 10. The teams played even in the fourth.
Seven Sky players had double digits led by Kahleah Copper (17). Candace Parker, Courtney Vandersloot, Stefanie Dolson, Diamond DeShields and Allie Quigley all had 10 and Azura Stevens had 13. Ruthy Hebard (8) and Dana Evans (3) finished the scoring for the Sky. Parker had 10 rebounds and Vandersloot had 12 assists to give both double-doubles.

The Sky shot 43.5% (10/23) on three-pointers as opposed to Dallas hitting only 24% (6/25). The rest of the team stats were fairly even.
The Sky is now 10-8 in second place in the Eastern Conference, two games behind first place Connecticut. They are also in fourth overall. The Sky return to action tonight at Indiana. They play again in Indiana Saturday, then have a long break until next Friday when they host Atlanta. They travel to New York on July 11 to close out the fist part of the season. The WNBA then takes a break for the Olympics.
