Christmas Music Kicks Off Friday On Lite FM
Need some cheer? Nonstop holiday tunes start Friday on 93.9-FM.
ILLINOIS — If 2020 and the coronavirus pandemic have got you down, some cheer is on the way — provided you're a fan of Christmas music. For the 20th year, 93.9 Lite FM will be rolling out its nonstop holiday music programming, starting Friday.
"Chicago’s Christmas Music Station" will start playing Christmas tunes around the clock starting at 4 p.m. Friday.
"After a year like 2020, we need holiday music more than ever," program director/host Mick Lee said in a statement to columnist Robert Feder.

The official launch for this year's nonstop Christmas song lineup will air live on the station, online at 939litefm.iheart.com and on the station's YouTube Channel.
