Crews Quickly Reopen I-57 Lanes After Accident

Two lanes were shut down for a short time while crews took care of the accident.

CHICAGO, IL — A traffic accident on Chicago's I-57 northbound that caused the two right lanes to be closed down has been taken care of, and all lanes are open, according to reports.

The Monday afternoon accident near 167th Street was the cause of the two right lanes being closed down, Bill West, a traffic reporter, said in a tweet. Crews worked quickly and the two lanes have been reopened, West tweeted.
