Cubs Reschedule Wrigley Field Concerts Canceled Due To COVID-19

Chris Stapleton, Guns N' Roses, Lady Gaga concerts and more will be held at Wrigley Field this year if pandemic restrictions allow.

CHICAGO — The Cubs are preparing for music fans to return to Wrigley Field for concerts as soon as this summer for canceled last year due to the coronavirus crisis.

On Tuesday, the team announced a full slate of shows that could start as soon as July 17 if pandemic social distancing restrictions allow. The Cubs will honor previously purchased tickets and have plans to sell additional tickets based on availability.

  • Chris Stapleton on July 17; originally scheduled for Aug. 29, 2020.
  • Guns N’ Roses on July 21; originally scheduled for July 26, 2020.
  • The Hella Mega Tour with Green Day, Fall Out Boy and Weezer on Aug. 15; originally scheduled for Aug. 13, 2020.
  • Lady Gaga on Aug. 27; originally scheduled for Aug. 14, 2020.
  • Def Leppard and Mötley Crüe on Aug. 29, 2021; originally scheduled for Aug. 28, 2020.
  • Maroon 5 on Aug. 30; originally scheduled for June 13, 2020.
