Dan Ryan Expressway Shooting Reported Saturday Morning
Lanes shut down for a few hours. One man injured.
CHICAGO, IL — Two outbound lanes of the Dan Ryan and the ramp leading to I-55 South were closed early Saturday morning for three hours as State Police investigated a reported expressway shooting near 18th Street. One man was wounded in a reported 5:12 a.m. shooting. The man was treated at MacNeal Hospital in Berwyn. State Police shut down the lanes to search for evidence, and re-opened the expressway at about 8:30 a.m.
