The Chicago hacker behind a scheme that gave him illegal access to the online accounts of celebrities such as Jennifer Lawrence and Kate Upton pleaded guilty Tuesday to unauthorized access to a protected computer to obtain information as part of a deal he struck with prosecutors earlier this summer.

Sure, gangster Al Capone is mostly known for his bloody reign as Public Enemy No. 1 in Chicago during the days of Prohibition. But at the end of the day — when you set aside all the violence and killing and dirty underworld dealings — Capone also was a caring father. At least that's the picture of the crime boss that comes through in a three-page letter that sold at auction Monday for $62,000, according to The Associated Press.
