Frank Lloyd Wright Sites Offering Virtual Tours
Those who are staying home to slow the spread of the new coronavirus can now take virtual tours of Frank Lloyd Wright-designed public sites

CHICAGO, IL – Those who are staying home due to mitigation efforts to slow the spread of the new coronavirus can now take virtual tours of Frank Lloyd Wright-designed public sites that have been closed due to the pandemic.
Thanks to a partnership between Unity Temple Restoration Foundation, the Frank Lloyd Wright Building Conservancy and the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation, "Wright Virtual Visits" video tours take place each Thursday at 12 p.m. CT on social media.
"It is precisely at this time, when so many are shut inside, that we need to experience beauty and inspiration," said Frank Lloyd Wright Building Conservancy Executive Director Barbara Gordon. "Wright's works bring people together in harmony with the natural world, reminding us that we are all connected, even when we're apart."

Because so many public site have been significantly impacted by the closures and are now facing major budget shortfalls, the Conservancy is hoping the tours will draw attention to the important landmarks and encourage visitors to donate.
The list of participating sites is available at SaveWright.org/WrightVirtualVisits.
