Freezy, Wet Start to the New Year in Northern Illinois
Brrrr! A blast of Arctic air? Is this any way to start a new year, Mother Nature?

CHICAGO, IL — The first Monday of 2017 brings a chance of drizzle in the morning hours and rain in the afternoon. Tuesday doesn't look much better, weatherwise. And later in the week, we get colder and colder as a blast of Arctic air enters the region Tuesday night through Friday, with periodic sub-zero wind chills, according to the National Weather Service. Happy New Year!
