Girl, 15, and 1-month-old Son Missing from South Side
The girl and infant were last seen Tuesday.
CHICAGO, IL — Police are asking for the public's help, after a 15-year-old girl and her 1-month-old baby went missing Tuesday in the Ashburn neighborhood on the South Side.
Makayla Bennett-Poindexter was last seen Nov. 22 in the area of the 8000 block of South Maplewood Avenue. She was wearing a blue winter coat over a purple robe. Police said she has her child, Caleb, who is also missing.
She is described as black with brown eyes and a medium complexion, with black hair worn in braids. She is 5-foot-2 and weighs about 125 pounds, police said.
