Gunman In Loop Sidewalk Shooting Sought
Chicago police are trying to determine why a South Side man was shot in the arm as he walked along Wabash Avenue on Saturday.

CHICAGO — A South Side man was shot in the arm Saturday as he was walking in the Loop. The victim is expected to survive his injuries, and Chicago police are still searching for the gunman.
The shooting happened just after 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27, near Wabash Avenue and Monroe Street, according to the Chicago Tribune. The gunman approached and then shot the 21-year-old man, who was walking north on the sidewalk along Wabash, the report added.
The victim was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital following the incident. Investigators are still trying to determine a motive for the shooting.
