Here's Where to Go Apple Picking This Fall

If you're looking for something fun to do with family and friends in the coming weeks, you can't go wrong with a day trip to an apple orchard now that the season is in full swing.

Not only is it way more satisfying to pick your own apples instead of from a boring basket at the grocery store, but between now and October you'll be able to find a nice variety perfect for baking, snacking and incorporating into other creative recipes.

Plus, most of these orchards offer other activities to keep the kids entertained while the grown-ups enjoy some hard apple cider and apple doughnuts (treat yo' self). Just make sure you call ahead to confirm times, crop supplies and rules regarding pets and strollers.
