Hickory Hills Woman Accused Of Illegally Downloading School Files

The 28-year-old woman allegedly took computer files that had school employees' personal information, according to Chicago police.

CHICAGO — A Hickory Hills woman is accused of downloading employee information from school system computer files last year, Chicago police said. Kristi Sims, 28, of the 9400 block of South Commons Drive, is charged with a count of felony aggravated computer tampering and four counts of felony identity theft.

According to police, Sims allegedly downloaded several personal files from a school database without authorization Oct. 31, 2017. Those files contained personal information of school district employees, police said.

Sims was arrested at her home Wednesday, Oct. 31. Her bond hearing is set for Friday.
