Wealth Management Advisors Michael D'Aquila and Benjamin Voigt, co-founders of Heritage Planning Partners, a Northwestern Mutual Private Client Group firm, have earned the Certified Private Wealth Advisor® (CPWA®) certification from the Investments & Wealth Institute.

"We are proud of Mike and Ben, whose growth mindset challenges them to be the best version of themselves for their clients," said Corey D. McQuade, managing partner of Northwestern Mutual-Chicago. "This is yet one more step in their professional development that recognizes their integrity and expertise in serving the unique considerations of their affluent clients through comprehensive planning."

Advisors who earn the CPWA® certification learn to identify and analyze challenges high-net-worth individuals face and understand how to develop specific strategies to minimize taxes, monetize and protect assets, maximize growth, and transfer wealth. During the certification process, CPWA® candidates gain a specialized skillset geared toward the lifecycle of wealth: accumulation, preservation, and distribution.
