Jazz and Arts Shows on 6/26 & 7/10 in Chicago
Denise La Grassa performs "The Flame," an evening of original jazz with guitarist John Kregor and visual artist Sholo Beverly.

Singer, songwriter and keyboardist Denise La Grassa will present The Flame, an evening of original jazz accompanied by guitarist John Kregor with visual artist Cheryl “Artist Sholo” Beverly, who will paint during the performance. The show runs about one hour without intermission and beverages will be provided.
La Grassa performs new songs through the eyes of Lady Liberty in a 21st century marked by confusion over the role of American democracy and original identity. Songs include “Warm Up The World Again,” “Wide Eyes Wide High” “Sea To Liberty,” “Summertime Skies,” “Good Rule Makers,” “American Woman,” “Amen to Happiness,” and “The Door.”
La Grassa is currently producing a film also called The Flame. Her live Rockin’ the Castle Theatre EP features La Grassa’s powerful vocals and melodic songwriting.
