Labor Day Weekend Weather: Sunny Skies
BEACH HAZARDS WARNING: Beautiful days ahead, but be very careful if you're planning a trip to the beach.

High Swim Risk
All is not well, however, as a Beach Hazards Warning is in effect for Lake Michigan until 4 p.m. today. Life-threatening wave heights are forecast at 3 to 6 feet. People visiting beaches in Illinois and Indiana should stay out of the water as strong rip currents near shorelines and structural currents near piers could sweep people away into deep water, advises the National Weather Service.
