McClure’s story shows how the family system is impacted when a loved one is diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. From personal experience, she says family members must come together selflessly, patiently and lovingly to care for the needs of the individual, regardless of the family dynamic or any societal issues that may challenge their resolve.
“When looking back it is good to know that you've done your best and gave your love one the best possible care,” McClure said.
APS Bookstore is located inside Ford City Mall located at 7601 S. Cicero in Chicago in the West Lawn neighborhood.
