Lollapalooza 2018: A Guide To Street Closings, Who's Playing When
Find out when Bruno Mars, The Weeknd, Jack White and other acts perform. Plus, check out the 4-day fest's weather forecast.

CHICAGO, IL — The Weeknd and Bruno Mars are just two of the headliners at this year's Lollapalooza music festival in Chicago. This summer's four-day, outdoor concert event also features Jack White, Arctic Monkeys, Tyler the Creator, The National, Vampire Weekend and St. Vincent on the bill.
More than 180 musical acts will play on eight stages between Thursday, Aug. 2, to Sunday, Aug. 5, in Grant Park. Along with the performances, festival-goers will be able to check out Kidzapalooza, an enclosed children's area, as well as Lolla Market, a one-stop shopping area at Buckingham Fountain where visitors can pick up a variety of event merchandise.

When: Thursday, Aug. 2, through Sunday, Aug. 5

Where: Eight stages around Grant Park
Tickets: General admission tickets are sold out except for single-day passes for Sunday, Aug. 5. Those tickets cost $120 (plus fees and taxes). Verified resale tickets are available, and prices vary. Go to the festival's website to shop and buy tickets and for more details.

The Weather
Here's what the forecast looks like for Chicago during the music festival, according to the National Weather Service:
- Thursday: A high near 86, with a low around 69. A 30 percent chance of rain and thunderstorms after 1 p.m.
- Friday: Mostly sunny and clear. A high near 84, with a low around 7o.
- Saturday: Sunny and mostly clear. A high near 90, with a low around 73.
- Sunday: Partly cloudly with a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms. A high near 86, with a low around 74.

The Road Closings
Street shutdowns will begin Monday, July 30, and in some cases, they will remain closed through Thursday, Aug. 9.
- Columbus Drive, from Monroe Street to Roosevelt Road.
- Balbo Drive, from Michigan Avenue to Lake Shore Drive. The road will be closed between Columbus and Lake Shore drives through Thursday, Aug. 9.
- Jackson Boulevard, from Michigan Avenue to Lake Shore Drive. The road will be closed between Columbus and Lake Shore drives through Wednesday, Aug. 8.
- Congress Parkway, from Michigan Avenue to Columbus Drive, including Columbus Circle. The road will reopen at Columbus Drive Tuesday, Aug. 7.

The Aftershows
More than 20 venues around Chicago will be the backdrop for more than 55 performances by more than 110 artists as part of the festival's official aftershows. Vampire Weekend, Carly Rae Jepsen, Franz Ferdinand, The National and Chvrches are some of the acts playing at city nightspots, such as the Empty Bottle, The Vic Theatre and the House of Blues.
