Man Stabbed On CTA Train During Thanksgiving Robbery: Police
Police said the man was stabbed in the back during a robbery on Thanksgiving.

CHICAGO, IL ? A 48-year-old man was stabbed in the back during a robbery on a CTA train, Chicago police said.
Police said the man was sitting on the train in the 200 block of West 47th Street at around 11:40 a.m. Thursday when he was approached by three people who demanded property. One of the three assailants "produced a sharp object." A physical fight ensued, and the victim was stabbed in the back.
The victim was taken to University of Chicago Hospital, where he was listed in good condition.

Police say the three suspects fled with the man's belongings.
The attack comes a week after a man poured liquid on a woman and set her on fire on a CTA train in the loop.

A 50-year-old man faces federal terrorism charges in that attack, slammed as "barbaric" by U.S. Attorney Andrew Boutros. A GoFundMe campaign for the victim had raised nearly $400,000 as of Friday. It described 26-year-old Bethany MaGee as "sensitive, caring, intelligent, and imaginative," saying, "She loves living in Chicago, and her gentle spirit makes her a favorite with every pet she meets."
