New survey results spell bad news for Gov. Rauner
Rauner did not fare well in a recent survey of registered voters on whether they approve or disapprove of their governor's job performance.

Gov. Bruce Rauner was named among the Top 10 most unpopular governors in the nation, according to the latest survey conducted by Morning Consult.
Morning Consult’s survey, conducted from early May 2016 to early September 2016, included 71,900 registered voters in all 50 states. You can read more about the survey’s methodology here.
The updated results of the survey are not far off from polling numbers from earlier this year. The Paul Simon Institute poll from March 2016 and Public Policy Polling from May 2016 that shows Rauner’s job approval ratings have been falling since taking office in January 2015.
