CHICAGO, IL — Looks like we'll have clear skies to close out 2016 and welcome 2017 Sunday morning. After dark, we may seen some rain. And Monday morning, there's a high chance of precipitation. Temps could climb into the 40s to start the week, too.

- Today: Partly sunny. Highs in the lower 30s. Northwest winds 10 to 20 mph in the morning shifting to the southwest 10 to 15 mph in the afternoon. Tonight: Windy. Mostly cloudy. Lows around 30. South winds 10 to 20 mph in the evening becoming southwest and increasing to 20 to 30 mph after midnight.
- Saturday: Mostly cloudy. Highs in the upper 30s. West winds 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph. New Year's Eve Saturday Night: Partly cloudy in the evening then clearing. Lows in the lower 20s. West winds 10 to 15 mph.
- New Years Day Sunday: Mostly sunny. Highs in the upper 30s. South winds 5 to 10 mph. Sunday Night: Mostly cloudy. A 30 percent chance of rain or perhaps some light freezing rain after midnight. Lows in the lower 30s. Then temperatures becoming steady or slowly rising.
- Monday: Cloudy. Chance of rain in the morning, then rain in the afternoon. Highs in the lower 40s. Chance of precipitation 80 percent. Monday Night: Cloudy. Rain likely in the evening, then a chance of light showers after midnight. Lows in the lower 40s. Chance of precipitation 60 percent.
